Cooking and Community

Cooking Classes

Chef Navjot Arora shares his passion for food through private and group cooking classes designed for home cooks, culinary enthusiasts, and corporate groups. Classes cover technique, flavor foundations, and cultural context—deepening understanding while everyone learns and creates together. He has also taught through community programs and college partnerships, including offerings with Westchester Community College, bringing hands-on education to aspiring cooks and food lovers alike.

Community & Philanthropy

Giving back is at the heart of Chef Navjot’s work. Through Chutney Masala, he and his team have supported a range of local and national charities, including Taybandz, Feeding Westchester, March of Dimes, Arc Westchester, and Spoons Across America, contributing time and resources to fight hunger, support families, and strengthen community services.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, Chef Navjot participated in efforts to prepare and share nourishing meals with those in need as part of a collaborative challenge with other restaurateurs documented by AARP, reinforcing his belief in food as service and support.
